“From the very beginning, I was drawn into a wonderfully crafted world of unimaginable and unique creatures, landscapes, and song! From Bildgermuck the dhogler who looks nothing like Man, but is more noble than most, to Caldyr, the Man most want to be, to Grimfox, who seems to be evil incarnate, but one I couldn’t help but feel some compassion for, I couldn’t nail down my favorite character. “I really enjoyed reading this, and I look forward to reading it again. I can’t wait for Book II. I highly recommend this book!”
“From the first page, every carefully chosen word draws you into the land of Andulen. The tale is told from many point of views, all of which add their own flavors and dimensions to the story. There are epic accounts of adventure, flowing poems and songs that beg to be read aloud, and touching moments of tenderness. The web of relationships between heroes and villains alike set the stage for many adventures to come. So step into the Two Trees Inn, grab a pint of frothy ale along side Bildgermuck, and settle in for a very well told tale!”
“Do yourself a favor and read Crowns of Silver and Ash. You’ll be transported to a land both exciting and terrifying. Not a page goes by without a new revelation about the denizens or landscape of Andulen. A few pages will be enough to grab you by the imagination and not let you go. Maybe, after reading Book I, you too will yearn for the next chapter in this fantastic odyssey. It can’t arrive too soon to suit me. This is a novel to be read and savored by anyone who has adventure in their heart. Enjoy the journey!”
“This story is well written, fleshed out with multiple races, good and evil, bards, fighters, servants, Kings, Queens and everything in between. It might take a little to get into and understand how the races work, and the backstory and history. When all is said and done this is great fantasy, no fluff piece. I don’t want to give plot or what not, but trust me, it’s deep with intrigue and backstabbing, and…and…and… Again, Just stop reading this and get the book!”
“I really enjoyed this series! I found this to be a really engrossing read, with great characters, a dark and suspenseful plot and really artfully crafted verses. The author has taken a really unique turn with the relationship between dogs and humans in this new world, placed an evil force with a vengeful passion driven by shame and humiliation, and a rich and medieval background. There are multiple instances where the story turns to lyrical song in the midst of the woods and the battlefield, and it is a nicely poetic device to tell the backstory. Highly recommend if you like a great tale!”
